Our Mission

This project was born from a personal wake-up call: seeing my grandma lose her ability to share her past, and realizing my own parents’ stories were headed for the same silence. We created this to make "knowing them easy. One question at a time, we’re making sure that when the next generation asks, "Who were they?", you’ll have the beautiful, complicated, and complete answer.

Most of us realize too late that we don't actually know our parents. We know the version of them that raised us, but we don't know the dreamer, the risk-taker, or the person who made the sacrifices that put us where we are today.

We provide thoughtful, inspiring prompts that make it easy to start a great conversation. (e.g., "What's a piece of wisdom you try to live by?" or "What's a skill you have that most people don't know about?")

Easy Saving: Whether it's a quick audio note, a photo, or a typed-out memory, the app gives you a simple, private place to save it.
